Eric Balas is a Zen Shiatsu Practitioner and Polarity Therapist with over 16 years of experience. He Graduated from the Palmer Institute of Massage and Bodywork with certifications in Zen Shiatsu, Polarity Therapy, and Herbalism. He then went on to train in more advanced Polarity techniques at the Polarity Realization Institute in Ipswich, MA. In 2003 he founded the Violet Flame Healing Center in Salem, MA. He utilizes both Shiatsu and Polarity Therapy successfully to treat injuries, relieve chronic pain, migraines, anxiety, insomnia, digestive problems, epilepsy, as well as seeing great improvement in those struggling with PTSD and addiction. Maureen Cason Hanlon is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire where she earned a Masters degree in Social Work. She is a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) in the State of New Hampshire and a member of the National Association of Social Workers. Maureen has received training in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed and trauma-focused treatment, mindfulness, substance abuse, geriatric mental health and grief therapy.
Maureen specializes in providing psychotherapy to adults and elders. With an integrated, trauma-informed approach, Maureen treats numerous conditions including depression and related mood disorders, anxiety disorders and PTSD along with management of issues related to coping with chronic illness, aging, grief and loss, and end-of-life. She brings over 26 years of experience to her private practice.
Stacie Leclerc earned her master’s degree in counseling from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado and has worked in a variety of settings with adolescents and adults. Her therapeutic approach is client-centered, using evidence-based practices to assist clients in developing strategies to overcome challenges. In a judgment-free setting, clients feel supported while working toward recovery by addressing the relationship between behaviors, thoughts and feelings with goal-oriented strategies. As a dual-licensed clinician, she specializes in substance use disorders, mood disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety and life transitions.
